I’m actually both extremely stoked and a little sad. The Baen Contest has been a goal of mine for several years now, and I’ve placed 3rd in both 2017 and 2019. But I’ve had an awesome time at each ISDC which is a great venue to get exciting new SF ideas. And a great chance to hang out with other authors and a Baen editor. Now, I won’t have an excuse to go to the 2021 ISDC… especially since the ISDC 2020 has been canceled.
