Everything I Know Comes from RPGs

Imagine you’re playing a computer role playing game. Nearly every game allows customization of your player character’s appearance. Suppose your character was instead randomly generated. And some of the characteristics that you weren’t allowed to choose put you at great disadvantage in the game. Do you:
A) Just roll with it and suffer
B) Start over until you get the character you want
C) Demand the designers change the game so it doesn’t matter what your character looks like to have an equal playing experience
D) Don’t play that game.
Real life is no game. B) and D) aren’t valid options. A) can get you killed early.
